This year Precita Eyes Muralists is celebrating 30 years of creating and fostering community through mural arts. Precita Eyes is responsible for some of the finest public community murals in the country. Creating over 450 murals in schools, community centers, parks, and businesses around San Francisco/Bay Area and more than a dozen in other countries in collaboration with children, youth, families and residents that express the diverse voices and visions of the many communities that we have served. Some of our major accomplishments have included:
Over 4,500 mural walking tours offered
Over 100,000 mural tour participants
16 SF/Bay Area Mural Awareness Festivals
10 Urban Youth Arts Festivals
12 Day of the Dead Events
15,000 students served in Precita Eyes Arts Programs
150 murals created in schools
More than 2000 supportive members and individual donors
Purchased our building on 24th Street in 1998

Through our two locations Precita Eyes Muralists continues to offer a variety of valuable services to the community, including community art center, mural tour program, adult life drawing, painting and community mural art workshops. toddlers, kids and youth arts programs. We are continually growing to meet the needs of the community.
