ART CLASSES AND PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH AND ADULTS

TODDLERS' ART CLASS
A wonderful opportunity for both parent and child, this class introduces the possibilities of art to toddlers starting at age 18 months to 5 years old.
Time: Monday through Thursday, 10:30 AM -11:30 AM
KIDS MURAL ARTS WORKSHOP
Children 5 - 10 years old are invited to come and explore their imaginations using a variety of materials. Learn how to make masks costumes, jewelry, collages, murals and more!
Time: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM.
YOUTH MURAL WORKSHOP
Students learn how to express themselves creating portable and permanent community mural paintings, how to use acrylic paint, and a collaborative process of translating thoughts and ideas into an organized composition. Youth create community murals using drawing, composition, and color design techniques.
Time: Saturdays 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
URBAN YOUTH ARTS
In this class students (ages 11-19) develop a personal style, focusing on street art, spontaneity being the key form of execution. They explore their own creativity with traditional and alternative techniques. Students learn how to collaborate on portable and permanent public mural projects.
Time: Tuesdays 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The Community Mural Arts Education Workshop
Using a collaborative community mural process this two hour workshop will provide "hands-on" experience in directing, designing, and planning of a community mural under the guidence of a Master Muralist, Susan Cervantes. Call (415) 285 -2287 for more info.
Date: Every third Tuesday of every month
Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Cost: $50.00 ($40.00 for members) Pre-registraion is REQUIRED.
Precita Eyes Mural Painting Workshop
Date: April 21 - May 31
Cost: $450 Prepaid registration for non-members - $425 for members (Pre-registration is required)
