Led by Carmela Gaspar Next Tour: Saturdays in January: 1/18 & 1/25 at 11:30 a.m. Born and raised in San Francisco, multidisciplinary artist Carmela Gaspar shares with us her love of the city and the people who lend their magic to it. This tour centers the community’s stories of resistance against oppressive systems, resilience, love, and creation against all odds.

Classic Mission Mural Walk
Led by Patricia Rose Next Tours: All Saturdays in January and February (January 18 & 25; February 1, 8, 15, & 22) at 1:30 p.m. For students and those with a deeper interest in the history and context of Mission District muralism, this tour begins at our Center (2981 24th Street, near Harrison) with a brief introduction from your guide, who is also a muralist and is prepared to answer all of your mural questions. After the introduction, Patricia takes you on a 6 block walk through Balmy Alley and along 24th St.

Mural History Tour
Led by Patricia Rose Next Tour: Saturday, February 15th at 11:30 am Patricia Rose is a longtime neighborhood resident and a Precita Eyes Muralist since 1980. This tour includes lots of local lore and history, as well as plentiful narratives about the murals you'll be seeing.
