Emmy Lou Packard Prints

Emmy Lou Packard (1914-1998) was a San Francisco artist well known for her printmaking, paintings, and murals. She had a lifelong friendship with Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, whom she both apprenticed under and was greatly inspired by. Her political work in the Mission District and San Francisco is still seen to this day in the murals at Coit Tower, the “Pan American Unity” mural, and at Berkley.
Precita Eyes has a brand-new selection of Emmy Lou Packard prints for sale. Beautifully printed on Archival paper, these prints show the love and care that Packard had for the people she was depicting. Call (415)285-2287, or come to our store on 2981 24th St., SF to learn more.
